Lorkhan is a god of lies, of polite fictions, of illusory limits, of guiding misdirections.

The first lie is in his Name: he is not Lorkhan, for that is merely what he was called, what he took for alias with a smirk on his lips and a laugh in his eyes. He is the dark king, indeed, but that is his name as surely as Ashkhan is a mortal's.

The second fiction is in his existence: he is not an Aedra, for they gave themselves willingly to this world, while he gave nothing but his ideas and lies and tricked them all into locking each other inside their own prison. He is called the Missing God when he lives right under their noses, cleaved in two and a secret third that already drifts twice-loose from the cage.

The third illusion is in his plan: he did not plan on losing Heart or Body, on his mission to talk Anuminous into waging war on himself and the swells of Will-poisoned darkness that he stirred in his noisy thrashings within the Silence, the Nothing, the Eternal, the Many. He did whisper a failsafe later, given in segments, to force himself back together without knowing it.

The last misdirection is in his nature: he is not at all distant from this doomed world and these temporary beings he has wrought into existence by talking moonsweet dreams into a mind shattered in eights and twefths. He humors the limits of the Conventioned Arena like he humored the limits of Dawn, and he eats his own mirrors with ravenous hunger.
